What is a good digital Movie Editing software?

I am interested in a Very Good easy to use movie editing program for my Canon 5IS camera. I want a software that does a good job, but ease of use is even more important. I do not want to do anything too advanced. I want to stitch clips together, remove parts of clips, make photos out of some frames. Thank You

What i use is a very basic program that i was able to do a very nice amount of editing with out getting too complicated with. And i loved this program and i still use it today its called "Vegas Movie Studio+DVD 8 Platinum software" Its a great program and its also great for making DVD's. its pretty straight forward although you have to play around with it a lot to figure stuff out but when you do it gets very easy and you can edit with ease.

Also in addition to this software it includes a tutorial that will answer any of your questions about editing!
